Faith and Theology: Liturgical giggling
This article from Faith and Theology hit very close to home for me. I find myself suppressing liturgical giggles from time to time. It's very easy to find humor when it is inappropriate to laugh. For example, I sometimes wonder what would happen if I jumped up and started acting crazy. Or perhaps I think of a joke at an inappropriate time. Sometimes I wonder if I sat in the back pew and rolled a marble to the front of the church, how far would it make it before stopping and would anyone notice. Such things make me have to suppress a laugh.
